Whether you support the Obama Healthcare Reform Bill or not, there are some great arguments for both sides. Clearly, our healthcare system is broken and needs work. With our economy still not where it should be and personally knowing several people still out of work. If you are like me, you just love making a statement. For the other side of the argument, there will be limits on how much we have to pay to receive coverage. Many will get a tax credit to help pay for their coverage and premiums will go down 3%-20%. Also, for the first time in history, insurance companies will no longer be able to refuse coverage, jack up your rates or drop you when you get sick. Small businesses (50 or less full-time workers) will get new tax credits that will make it easier to provide coverage for their employees. It really sounds good for most of us, but what about business owners? Without them, we have no job, unless we start our own business, then we are in the same boat.
